DeSoto Caversns is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in the city of Childersburg, Alabama. The Desoto Cavers are a series of awesome geological caves that includes a three-quarter acre maze, wall climbing, panning for gemstones, a lost trail maze, and plenty of amusement park rides. Make sure to take the 1-hour long guided tour where you will see thousands of cave formations that you will not find anywhere else in the world! You might think the caverns will be extremely cold, but the temperature stays around 60 degrees year round and even feels warmer with the 100% humidity inside the caverns.
