Ready for an action packed beach party like not other? Then head to San Diego’s Belmont Park, an ocean front amusement park that attracts millions of people each year for fun and festivities. This vintage historic amusement park is located in the Mission Bay area of San Diego, California and has both traditional and modern attractions. The Belmont is jam packed with things to do and an event schedule that is ever changing.  One of it’s most popular features, The Plunge, is an indoor swimming pool that was originally a saltwater pool. Or, ride its counterpart, The Vertical Plunge, a three story vertical drop tower that will have you on the edge of your seat. The Giant Dipper, the original wooden roller coaster at Belmont is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is still functioning today. The Wave House Bar and Grill overlooks the ocean and has 2 artificial waves. The larger is named Bruticus Maximus or ’bmax’ as this barreling wave reaches 8 feet high! The smaller of the two waves is called Flowrider. The Wave House Bar and Grill includes kava bars, barbeque pits and never-ending boardwalks. There are plenty of shops and a beachfront or food court type cuisines. The possibilities are endless at Belmont Park, so come join the biggest beach party in San Diego.
