Astroland was a 3.1-acre (13,000 m2) amusement park in Coney Island and first opened its doors in 1962. It was located at 1000 Surf Avenue (Corner of West 10th Street) on the boardwalk. At September 7, 2008, the park closed and stopped its operation.
